My grandfather came from Guatemala many years ago. His former life was, and still is, a mystery to us. We did find out his mother was from Spain and his father was of Mayan descent. Mejia is my maiden name. I wish I knew the exact part of the country he actually came from. I feel as though I am missing a big chunk of my life. My family doesn't even speak the Spanish language, having been in the U.S. all our lives.
