Hello Jimmie
I looked around the web sites that have family trees on them but can not find any with your Meltons on them .
I can find a Louise Holbert in Clear Creek , Henderson , North Carolina in the 1930 Census with father John P. Holbert and others . Some trees list Louise as Fannie Louise Holbert . But without more info. there is no way to be sure shes yours .
You don't say where Robert was born so to find him you will probaly need to send for some records to fill in the gap from the last census in 1930 to now .
You can do this from your home computer if you join one of the ancestery web sites like Ancestry.com or some others .
If you know about what year Robert or Louise died you should be able to find out there social security number to send for ther SS5 to find out what what they wrote as ther birth plac and who ther parents where when they applied for SS . And also for death and birth certaific and so on .
Good luck
John Melton
