Maybe this can help.
My great-grand-father was Dypno Mendiola,
born in Ixcapotzalco, state of Guerrero, he was a member of the mexican House of Representatives for his state during the 1930's.
He started his career fighting in the Mexican Revolution for the Zapatistas along with his friend General Castrejon. Both were in numerous conflicts and were men of action.
Together they had several adventures but the major one was arriving to Mexico City.
There Dypno Mendiola became a member of the House of Representatives and bought a house in the then posh Colonia Roma.
He used to give shelter to his paisanos in his house when they went to Mexico City, specially in the days of "la bracereada", hiring of braceros going to the US in the 1940's. His house was right in front of Estadio Nacional where the hirings were taking place. His sons were Ricardo ( my grandpa ) and Juventino; his daughters were Maria, Margarita and Etelvina.
I hope this helps somebody.
