Hi Debra,

I have found this info on Godfrey (Godfroid) at the Church of LDS site:

My ggrandmother was Cornelia Mendoza from St. Mary Parish, LA, daughter of O. Emanuel (Samuel) Mendoza. I think there might be a link back to Godfroid, but I have not been able to find it documented yet. Please let me know if you come across any additional information.
