Thank you for writing to me.
I would imagine that most Mendoza's aren't jewish having mixed with so many cultures and other religions. There's so much to learn!!

How are you going about researching your roots in Puerto Rico? I am interested to know because I have always believed that my name originates from Toledo (Spain) where the Spanish inquisition took place. But then I suppose they could have been from any part of Spain. I say Toledo because of the large jewish community that used to live all those centuries ago. What leads have pointed you in the direction of Puerto Rico?
