Rubie, sorry to be so long in answering your posting. Apparently Eliza Farmer was an heir of James Menees and could have been a daughter. It was hard to locate the daughters especially when we had no clue about them. We became aware of Eliza when we found the court actions being taken. James Menees died December 6, 1877 age 87 years old. January 17, 1878 his son C. G. Menees and J. W. Bradley, adm'r of the estate- There are several heirs listed in a court actions with Eliza Farmer and her husband Axom Farmer. We have no genealogical record of any type on her until this time. Perhaps if we can share bits and pieces we may be able to determine more on this matter. It has been a big question for some time for us researching the family.
