Looking for researchers interested in the branch of the Mengel family that came up the Susquehanna River to Snyder (Union/Northumberland) Counties in Pennsylvania.
My g-g-g grandmother is Hannah Mengel, born about 1824, married John Bingaman 1-1-1843, in present-day Snyder County.
I suspect Hannah's father was Peter Mengel, but have no confirmation of that. Peter is the Mengel who left Berks County and came to Snyder County, so he could be her father or her grandfather.
Help greatly appreciated.
