Mark,

My great great grandfather was William Menser. His daughter Mary Jane Menser(my great grandmother) moved out of Ballard Co, in the late 1800's. There were family that settled in Indiana. Mary's grand daughter married a Hamlett. In 1900 my grandmother was 18 living with Pickney Gream's (boarding house) Her mother(Mary Jane (Menser)Gardiner, Holt, Phillips was not living in the Ballard Co.KY, had moved to another area. I have very little information. If anything I've posted rings a bell, let me know, please. Mary Menser's first husband was Joseph Gardiner, an full blooded Irishman. He died 2 weeks before my grandmother was born. So Mary was left with Josie and Annie Jane Gardiner. Josie died young and Annie Jane married a Graves Co. KY man and moved to Graves Co. KY
Thanks,
Jean
