This is something I found out in the census. I had always heard that Marion went to Arkansas because he was ill and the climate was supposed to help him. In the 1920 6 th Civil Mag. Dist., Hopkins Co., KY. It has Marion (father)staying with son Johnny Lee, he is listed as widowed. Three houses away Margie A. (Margaret) Menser (divorcee) and dau. Bertha E. are listed. In the 1930 Charleston, Hopkins Co., KY census (mother) Margie A. (Divorcee) is staying with son Johnny Lee Menser. While Marion Mensor in Arkansas is still listed as a widower who is living all alone. My mother and her brother remember Mammie Menser so she would have to of been alive after that 1930 census. I notice in a Obit for Johnny Lee Mensers son Eldred L. Menser he was called "Monk". So, it's possible Solomon Marion Menser was too. I do not know, wish I did.
