Solomon and Dolly were my 3rd Great -grandparents. I believe that Solomon was first married to Polly B Brasher in 1821, but do not know if they divorced or she died. He then married Dorothy "Dolly" June 15, 1824 (one source showed Dec 27, 1824) in Hopkins Co. I show their children as Martin b. ca 1827; Catherine b. ca 1828; Noah b. ca 1832; Solomon D b. Feb 17, 1834 (my GG-Grandfather); David W b. ca 1838; and John Oliver b. Jan 2, 1841. I saw a son David listed on an LDS source with a birthdate of 1843, but don't know how or if he fit in. I supplied a lot of the information I see here, but I've never delved into finding Elizabeth Jane's (Solomon D's first wife) parents. I have some guesses but would rather wait until I am more sure. I would be interested in the Croft lineage. Good Luck.
