Dear Clifford:

At first I would like to APOLOGIZE for my big delay. Now Im finally with a PC at home, and can return back to the gen.forum!

I appreciated very much your quick answer, and would like to tell you that our ancestors presumably came from Schwartzwald - Germany (translated into english that would be the black forest), at the end of the 18th century.

As far as we have recorded, Martin Merck was the first german Merck who came to Spain, into our line of ancestors.

Id like to thank you in advance for any clues.

Kindest regards,
Manuel Merck
