Sally,
Hopefully this will help you. While searching for my
Kessler line, I came across this.
Charles Merk and Margaretha Kessler married February 14, 1860 St. Clair County, Illinois Lic.#250.
source; Illinois Statewide marriage Index, 1763-1900
As you can see the Merk name is mispelled. I always run
the bride's name and then the grooms name separately in
case of the spelling being incorrect.
We have Kessler relatives buried in Greenmount Cemetery
as well. We just buried my husband's Godmother, Flora G.
Kessler, June of 2003 there.
Elizabeth
