in the past i may have said john b merrill the buglar
was born in 1836.....i was wrong.
1. his mustered papers have him 26 in 1864 witch makes his birth year 1838.
2. on a census from butler co . missouri dated 1880 he was said to be 43, witch makes him born in 1837.
so i am changing my birth date for john b merrill to 1837/38. sorry all just shows its easy to mess up .
