Jim, I show Daniel Merrell b.1819, Butler Co. Ohio,m.Nancy Anna Tracey,also went by (Nancy a. Tracey)or(Anna Tracey),m.9/14/1843,in Waynetwp.Ind. Daniel d.1897,Nancy A.Tracy d.1861. Daniel Married Mary Combs,1863,she died 1891. I show Daniel had 101 Acres near Waynetown,(1)Daniel was Justice of the Peace,Assessor,and supervisor of the township. Ref:Biographical Record,Ref.G. Mont.Co.marriage records 1823-1860,DAR, State library G 977.201 M 788 Children: Mary Elizabeth,b.1844,m.Shipman,of Benton Co. Sarah Ann, b.1847,lived to be one year old. Lydia,b.1849,m.J.H.Biddle of Benton Co. Thomas,b.1851,lived one year. Basil Tracey,b.7/17/1853,m.Nancy Ann Bunnell. Nancy A. b.1856, William B. b.1858,m.Rusk of Moundville,Mo. John D. b.1860 m.Maggie Johnson. The records I have for Benjamin Merrell,father of Daniel ,are a address of Perryville Rd,Ripley Twshp,in 1827. Also birth in Ohio,d.1833. His Father was born and died in England,perhaps,he was born in England,came here,went back for one reason or another,and died there. Ill keep digging,hope this isnt duplicates,of what you have.
