Lucretia Gregory Merrell in Madisonville, Hopkins Co., KY Her second marriage.
I have copy of her 2nd Marriage License dated 30 Sept 1861 & Marriage Certificate 2 Oct. 1861 to John Ady, at the house of Jas H Clark the minister of the Regulars Baptist Church wit: James Furgerson & M Fox
In Madisonville, Hopkins Co., KY Courthouse.

1880 Census: Madisonville, Hopkins Co., KY E.D. 191, Line 1. Ada, John age 52 yrs, carpenter, born AL, wife Lucrecia age 56 yrs, born AL, bound?, Oysenburg, James 7 yrs old.

Census 1900 -Kitchen, Hopkins Co., KY Merrill J. Polk age 53 born Al wife Louisa J. age 51 born KY, married 37 years,
Lucretia (mother) age 88 yrs. widow, born AL, says father born Georgia, mother born South Carolina
also two servants living in household, Cunningham, Lee, age 43 yrs widower born KY, Lyle, Nannie 11 years

Lucretia died 31 of July 1900 Hopkins Co., KY she was 88 years old, recorded in her youngest son's (James Polk Merrill) Bible, death date.
