I am trying to locate information on the Wells siblings: Fountain, John Henry, Jr., Thomas, and Terrisse M. (Margaret?). These siblings were the children of John Henry Wells, Sr. and Mary DeMasters Wells, last residence - Roane County, WVa in the mid-1890's.
Fountain (born about 1851) and Thomas (born about (1860) were born in either Rockbridge or Botetourt Counties of Virginia.
Fountain is listed in the Greenbrier Co., WVa 1870 census with father, John, which is the last time I have located him. Any other information would be appreciated.
Thomas was listed in the 1880 Clay Co., WVa census with John, his father. I know that he then moved to Webster Co., WVa to work in the timber industry. I have him located in that county in the 1910 and 1920 census. Any other information would be appreciated.
John Jr. was born about 1866 in either Botetourt County, Virginia or Greenbrier Co., West Virginia. He is last listed in the 1880 Clay County, WVa census living with his parents. John Jr. was listed as 14 years old at that time. Any other information would be appreciated.
Terrisse M.(possibly Margaret) Wells was born in 1869, Greenbrier Co., WVa. She is also listed as 10 years old in the 1880 Clay County census living with her parents. Again, any other information would be appreciated.
