I am looking for any information on a Alexander Austin of African American descent. He was born in North Carolina maybe around 1834. He married a Letty Dix and Elizabeth Preston. The following is purely conjecture;
1) had 3 brothers: Alfred, Burton and Anthony
2) may have been a slave on a plantation owned by Charles Austin of Fredericksburg, Va
