I have a booklet on the Adam Wise family beginning with Adam a native of Rheinish Hesse. Two generations later, my grandmother was born - Rachel - I believe her father was John, but there are conflicting stories within my family. Rachel was born June 23, 1860. John R. Wise, born May 13, 1822. He married Mgt. Young. He was the son of David Wise, Sr. who most of my family believe is my great grandfather.
