I am searching for the name of the father or the maiden name of the mother of William D. Ewing, born in Washington Co. PA on November 22, 1799. He moved to New Lisbon, Columbiana Co. OH in about 1825 and there married Mary Crawford. He was a teacher, postmaster and lawyer while living in Columbiana County. He returned to Pennsylvania in about 1852 and practiced law until his death in 1862. His children married Johnston, Hartshone, Hazen and Wheeler. Succeding generations were Robinson, Pates and Meyer. Thanks for any help.
