Catherine was known as Kate, and had two marriages: on March 19, 1879, she married Henry W. Petrie, and lived in La Porte. They divorced after their 2 l/2 yr. old daughter, Katie, died who is buried in the Door Village Cemetery in Scipio Twp.,La Porte, IN. Then, Kate married George W. Pooler, and they lived for a while in Cedar Rapids, IA. They did not have children. They moved to Minnesota, and divorced in Hennepin County. George did not remarry, but his son from a first marriage lived with him.
I would like to know if Kate died in Hennepin County; if so, when and where buried. Does anybody know? Thank you.
Kate's parents are William Andrew Nickell, b. 1806 in Greenbriar, Monroe Cty., VA and Mary Ann Parker, b. March 16, 1822 in VA, dying in La Porte 3/29/1897. Her husband died in 1869 in La Porte.
