Is anyone researching the Mecklenburg Co NC family of James J. Orr & Sophia Alexander? There is conflicting information on Sophia's ancestry. Is she the daughter of Joab Alexander or possibly Ira Alexander & Nancy Johnston? I saw Jane Beck's posting of 7/25/2000, but do not find it now to respond.
