place of death

I am looking to find the place of death for my great-uncle
Matts Alarik Sulasalmi. He emigrated to Calumet in May 1891 with his brother, my grandfather, Gabriel Sulasalmi.
He was born 1 Jul 1864 and died 20 Oct 1892. I found the arrival to Hull on 22 May 1891, but not their arrival in the US or Canada. They probably left from Liverpool. So accounting for the rail trip from Hull to Liverpool and the 8-10 day voyage, I estimate they arrived about the end of May or beginning of June 1891. A little over a year later he died. I'm thinking an accident of somekind. I know my grandfather worked the mines in Calumet for awhile. Any suggestions where to proceed or is this another "brick wall?" Any help greatly appreciated.
