SUBJECT
Joseph Messenger is giving a 99 year lease on property in Folkestone to John Tolputt. The rent is 1 peppercorn for the first 9 years and 13 p.a. thereafter. We are told that this is "in consideration of the expenses of John Bennett Tolputt in erecting the messuage".

The property consists of a dwellinghouse newly erected by John Tolputt known as No. 1, West Terrace at West Cliff, Folkestone.
