Levi Messenger (b abt 1778 in Berkhamstead CT, d 1857 in Chenango NY) married Rachel Smith (b 17 Aug 1783 in Otis, MA, d May 1823 in Chenango Cty NY) on 27 Apr 1802. Children Allen, Clark (maybe same person, b abt 1806, d 1827), Roxy (abt 1910, d 1821) and Almena (abt 1811, d 1864).
I'm looking for info about these children and their progeny if any. It's a problem because I don't think Almena ever married, Allen/Clark died at 21 and Roxy died at age 11. Maybe the family did not continue. Sad.
I wonder if Levi/Rachel had children between 1803-6. The family is buried in Rhode Island Cemetery near Lincklaen, Chenango Cty, NY. There is no child buried there with the others. Unless earlier children moved away and are buried elsewhere.
