Loretta,
Could be.......we know very little about this gentleman, other than he was born in Yankton, South Dakota. He would be my husband's grandfather. However, we understood that he died in late 1930's. It was indeed in Cedar County, Iowa. He is buried in Tipton, Iowa. Albert's father's name was George. We are always interested in following up and learning about the elusive Messner family. Would appreciate any info you would care to share.
