First I wish to thank all who tried to tell me that FAVORSTOCK did not exist. It does not. As you all suggested the town should be Tavistock. I think you are correct. We have found that my GG Grandfather WILLIAM METTERS had a son JOHN A. METTERS, BORN Oct. 11 1852 in BRATTON, DEVONSHIRE, ENGLAND. We also believe that one of the following is a brother to JOHN A. HENRY W. born June 17, 1856 in Bratton-Cloverly, Devonshire. Or GEORGE HENRY born May 13, 1856 in Bratton, Devonshire. We have reason to believe that the one who is not the brother is a cousin. If anyone has thoughts or info regarding same it would be appreciated. William Metters
