Thank you for your quick reply.

The John, age 7, listed in the 1851 census is possibly my gg grandad as his d.o.b. would be c.1844/5 (he was aged 21 when he married in May 1866).

My research has been done on line thus far & I hadn't found anything meaningful for 1851, 1861 census so these details are of interest. If I can verify anything from other records I'll let you know.
