Would like to compare note with anyone who is researching this family or their descendants. Their children were born in New York, probably Brooklyn:
1.Julius Metz, Jr., b. 1829
2.Flora Metz, b. 1831; m.Wm. James Shaw
3.Thomas, b. 1832; m. Ada ____, had 3 children: Flora, Ada, and Nellie... perhaps others
4.John or James, b. 1837
Also searching for children from the second marriage of Julius. His second wife was Louisa, and they had one known daughter, Beatrice, b. 1846 in Brooklyn. His first wife, Julia Maria Ayling, died c. 1841-1845.
This family is buried in the Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn, NY. Any help appreciated. Thanks, Carol
