Deborah,

The Jacob I have was born in Rapho Twp. Lan. Co. PA. in 1813 and moved with his family to Clarence, Erie Co. NY in ~1831. Clarence, NY is just east of Buffalo, NY

Jacob is the first Child of Christan Metz b. 1792 & d. 1855 & Barbara Kauffman Metz b.1796 d. 1861. He has 14 other Bro & sisters. I have detailed data on all except Jacob. I am his 2nd cousin 3x removed. All the data I have came from a family Bible. Which leads me to believe that he might have been a "black sheep" and moved to Niagara Co. This last statement is only a guess. I have no information on his other than his birthdate.

Jacob b. 1813 G. Father is Christian b. 1760 G. Grandfather is Lodowick Jr. b. 1736 and Lodowick Sr. b. ~1700. I am a descendant of Abraham Metz youngest son of Lodowick Sr.

I have no data on any names you mentioned in your in your query. I also checked the 875 message and none of those Metzes belong in my ancestry.
As far as I know all my Metz lines originated in Sporting Hill Lancaster Co. PA
Doug
