I made an error in my previous post #904. Robert Metz found on the 1900 McLennan County Texas census was married to a Catherine. I believe she had been married before. The Theresa that I mentioned before I believe to be his stepdaughter along with her sister Cora.
Robert's death certificate states that his father was "A. Metz, born in Germany. The informant was A. H. Skinner - do not know if this was any relation to him or not. He and Catherine are both buried in Oakwood Cemetery in Waco Texas.
