Edgar Lewis Mevis was my mother's cousin. His father was
one of my grandfather's older brothers.(They left N.Y and moved to Lowell, Mass in 1880.Edgar Sr. worked for the railroad and eventually settled in Texas.)
I don't have any information on Edith Gladys Blackie (whom I assume was your grandmother's aunt.)but,if you were looking for Mevis side, I can be of help..Here is a clip from my files re: Edgar Lewis Mevis, Sr.otherwize sorry, wish you luck.
