I'm not related to this family.

I find some inconsistencies with the research for Angeline E. Rice.

1870 - How does a 4 yr old girl in 1860 [Angeline E. Rice] have her name changed to Angeline Gage? She is now 14 in 1870. Census record for 1870 shows her as "daughter".
Is she really a step-dau??

How can Angeline Rice be born in 1854 or 1858 when her parents were not married until 1858???

1880 -
Name: Jacob May
Home in 1880: Piney, Texas, Missouri
Age: 39
Estimated Birth Year: abt 1841
Birthplace: Bavaria
Relation to Head of Household: Self (Head)
Spouse's Name: Angaline
Father's birthplace: Bavaria
Mother's birthplace: Bavaria
Occupation: Farmer
Marital Status: Married
Race: White

Jacob May 39
Angaline May 24
John L. May 11
Henry May 4
William May 2, MO - should be listed as step-son; but is listed as "son"

All children are listed as father born - Bavaria & mother being born in MICHIGAN. Are John L. & Henry May children of Jacob's prior marriage ???

How many children did Angeline have ???

When & where did she die? ? ?
