I'm looking for information on John Alexander Bannerman MacAuley, 1/26/1891 - 12/19/1970 and his family line. He was raised in Calumet Michigan with his brother Archie and Sister Tina. Records there indicate they were Canadian but my cousin recalls the parents were American teachers who lived in Canada when the children were born and moved back. He was Superintendant of Houghton County schools, declared US citizenship at the start of WWI, was in an US Army training regiment during WWI, worked in the CCC and ended up in Frankfort Michigan. He had anoxic encephalopathy from a surgery in the early 60s so he didn't talk much when I knew him and my mother, Elwynne Lucretia Moyna, 8/6/1923 - 1/16/1972 didn't talk much about the family before she died. He married Rachel Bellows and had two daughters, Elwynne (Bennett, Moyna) and Elaine (Micham). He died in Frankfort in 1970.
