St Francis Xavier Cemetery in Ecorse Michigan

If anyone needs help with someone buried at St Francis Xavier's Cemetery in Ecorse Michigan maybe I can be of help. I visit there quite often and involved with a group that will be working at the cemetery this spring. It's in disarray and the group is working on recording not only who has markers there but also in resetting some of the stones that have been over turned through the years. The group not only recorded the markers this past fall but where they're located in the cemetery. The book that the Downriver Genealogy group has published for the cemetery is a good start but more people have been buried there since 1979 when the markers were recorded. Also other markers have been uncovered after years of being buried. In the spring we'll try to uncover more buried markers which I'm sure there is. I also have started to search for others buried there and do not have a marker. The cemetery supposedly has something like 2,400 graves and only about 700 markers. So far I have documented about 800 buried there without stones and will continue to search for more. You can write me for any assistance
