I have recently started reasearching my family to complete my family tree and I have hit a brick wall with my great-uncle. His name is Jessie Eugene Dyer born February 4, 1926 in Pinckneville, Perry County, Illinois. He was adopted by my great-grandmother and my great-step-grandfather Omah Bessie (Armstrong) Dyer and Emery B. Dyer. It is rumored through family that he was raised by them and then once he got older he found that he was adopted and was actually the child of his brother Joseph Eugene Schmidt and a woman in which he had a tryst with. And although it was rumored that he married a German lady around April 18, 1952 and moved to Germany I had recently discovered from a helpful person on another message board that he moved to Michigan and I want to confirm it I have this social security number 322-20-5253, I also found out that he died on 26 Feb 2004 in Redford, Wayne, MI, and buried in HOLY SEPULCHRE CEMETERY 25800 WEST TEN MILE ROAD SOUTHFIELD, MI 48037. Possible relatives Maria L Dyer still living in Michigan.
