Dear Melissa, Have you tried to get a record of his marriage to your grandmother? It might have his parents' names on it and maybe his age or a birth date and a birth place. Witnesses to the marriage may be a relatives. If you can get his parents' names, you may be able to get his Social Security application. You could also try to find him on the US censuses which could tell you if he had any siblings which you might be able to find, especially if they were males. http://www.ssa.gov/foia/html/foia_guide.htm#_Toc517745429 Do you know if he was in the Army or any other branch of the service? Have you checked the Social Security Death Index for him? Georgia Notify Administrator about this message?
