There is a Green family of which I am a descendent of. William Green married a Elizabeth O'Conner and had 10 children. One was a daughter by the name of Susanna Green who married Micheal Dunn. William left County Cork in l823 and was in the Carleton County area of Ontario and then started towards Michigan, first settling for a short time in Kent County and then onto St. Clair County in Kenockee Township. His children were: Mary, George, Elizabeth, Catherine, Elen, William, John, Susanna (mine), James and Sara Jane.
This William was the son of William Green and Mary Connor of Castletownroche, County COrk, Ireland. I believe that a John Green born l787, Thomas Green born l789 and Elen Green born 1800 who lived also in adjacent townships of Carleton County, ONtario are my Williams siblings.
William died Nov 19, 1891 and is buried in the Kenockee Cemetary now known as "Our Lady of Mt. Carmel" in Emmett, Michigan.
Your George may be the George born l829 who was the son of my William Green. George Green married Mary Murphy in l859 and from all that I know they had children, 2 of which I am aware of and they were James Edmond Green born l860 and Sylvester Green born l861...possibly Susan could be a daughter...after all he had a sister who went by Susan!
