Robert,

I only looked in Book 2 because that is the reference you gave. This person is listed as David S Stephens in the index but he is David F Stephens in the actual record. After I got home from the FHC I found this website http://www.rootsweb.com/~mistcla2/S1.htm
which shows a David F Stevens in Book 1, page 23. I will look him up tomorrow. Here is the record I found today.
