Searching for information about George Michels...born in 1809 in Prussia, lived in Belgium, Wisconsin in 1840's. Moved to Thienesville-Mequon area 1850's, then disappears. There is a George Michels who drown in Watertown, Jefferson County in November 1868--unknown if this is the same Michels or not...
While cleaning things up around my computer this afternoon, I came
across some
notes I took down at Jefferson County Couthouse while looking for the
death
certificate for the George Michels who drown in Watertown...as I
said..it was
not there.
There were many Michealis' in the registers.
There was a Gustave Michels--date of death August 17, 1942--Vol 19 page
484
