I have ancestors John M. Michaels-born in Germany and marrying an Ernestina and having 13 children. Some of them resided in the Chicago area. John C. married Minnie Heppner and thus my family line.
Time wise if John M. was born in 1835, He could have been the father of John C. who
was born in the early 1870's.
