relatives from/in Germany early 1900's

My father came to the U.S. during the early 1900's via Hamburg, Germany. He was from a town called Beichlingen, was one of eleven(?) children born to Ana Knabe and Paul Fredrick Albert Michaelis. My ggrandfather was also Paul Michaelis and my gggrandfather was Albert Michaelis. One of my father's brothers was Otto Michaelis who lived here in the U.S. with us. Any leads, connections, etc. would be appreciated.
