Does anyone have any information on Michaelis family in the southeastern part of Washington circa early 1900's? I show he homesteaded 160 acres south of Spokane, WA. He also appears on plat maps and on GLO cards. My information for him states he and his wife were the probably the parents of Albertine Fraas and Wilhelminia Stentz. Possible this is not correct as my grandma thought the girls may have been cousins; not sisters. She never knew for certain but was told there was something odd in their relationship to one another and it was some kind of family secret.

Anyone have any thoughts or ideas on this? They are a complete mystery. I can't even find a grave for them. I think I saw their name on a 1917 plat map, so likely one of them still living at least.
