Thank you. Any info about John Michie's ancestors or Annie Gordon's would be welcome. Alexander and Sarah's children were Essie, Eleanor, Alexander, John, Arthur, Aimee, George, Harold and Winifred (my grandmother on my father's side). Alexander died at Delegate in NSW on 26 March 1902. According to his death certificate he had spent 34 years in Tasmania, 1 year in Victoria and 9 in NSW, so they must have emigrated soon after marriage (1866, I think). He was a Presbyterian minister and reputed to be fond of whisky.
