Michie stadium at West Point

Yes, Gus, the stadium at the U.S. military academy is "Michie" stadium. They pronounce it Mike-ee. (Long I,and a long E at the end.) I don't know any Michies who pronounce it that way. I come from a group of "Mic-key" pronouncers, but who am I to correct an academy of well trained officers? I'd like to know if there are any "Mike-ees" out there! (Rhymes with Nike, the running shoe)
