Yea - I always get amused when someone tries to pronounce our name after seeing it printed or trying to write it after they heard it.
There are a lot of Michie's near Aberdeen where it is fairly common. My Michie's are from Leslie, Fife and I am now back to the mid 1700's. If I can be of any help, please advise.
