Dear Laura
I have sent you an email, but in case it does not reach you ... here is the message.
I have been fascinated reading and following up many trails of my Scottish ancestors. I had not realised that the Michies went to USA as early as the 1700's. My father's family went out to Detroit Michigan in the 1920's.
You seem to be the first person to mention Michies of the Glasgow area. My father was Alexander Michie born 10/9/1911 in Wishaw.

Do you have any more information of the Michies of that area? What I have is limited.
Sandra Michie (Alexandra Joan Michie)
