Coy,
Do you have any other details of the Michies of the Aberdeen area? I am wondering how they are related to those of the Lanarkshire area of Scotland.

My father's family, Alexander Michie, b.10 Sept 1911, in Wishaw, d. 1974 in Salisbury Rhodesia. His family emigrated to the USA in the 1920's from Wishaw. I think they went out to "family" in or near Detroit. My grandparents were William Michie b about 1884 in Wishaw Scotland d. 7 July 1938 who married Flora McKinnon Somerville on 7 Dec 1910 in Cambusnethan, Lanarkshire, Scotland.
Has anyone any information about the Michies in that area of the USA, or Lanarkshire, or Renfrewshire?
