Peter, This is spooky. As previously mentioned my fathers name was Alexander ( known as Sandy) - he was born in Pitlochry and his parents were John Michie and Margaret Robertson. I don,t know their birth years but it would be around the dates mentioned by you. My father was one of 12 and he had a brother Peter who emigrated to New Zealand ( I am in touch with his family and have visited him) More interestingly he also had a brother George who emigrated to Australia in the 1920s. George died last year at the age of 95 and I had visited him and his two sons, Don and Rod who live in Sydney. Both Don and Rod have children but none is called Peter. Where are you living? The coincidences are just amazing and I need to speak to the family in Sydney. Have you any further info. Regards, John.
