I am not sure if we are related, but your message seems to connect with some history my mother told me.
Firstly, my gf was Rocco Milano, born in Poggioreale, sicily. His wifes name was Caterina. They had seven children, three boys and four girls, (two of whom died at an early age).
One of my gf's brothers and sister emigrated to America (Los Angeles) around the late 1800's. It appears his brother had a son who was adopted by his aunt (brothers sister). I believe the son's name was Anthony after his granfather (my ggf).
