I am updating information. Lydia K. Millage, daughter of Peter Millage and Maria Collins, married Charles A. Teeter, of Lansing,, New York on 14 Dec 1858 in Newfield, Tompkins, NY. They had a son named Delos Teeter who died 31 Mar 1863 and is burried in Cutter Cemetery, Newfield, Tompkins, NY. Delos was born 7 OCt 1860. The witnesses to Lydia K. Millage's marriage were: Charles Millage ( possibly an uncle) and John H. Elwell. This would put Peter Millage's death date before 1858. The marriage information came from Pastor's Handbook B written by: F. Dusenberry, bought of B. Chatwick 24 Aug 1846, Newfield, New York. This is found on www.usgenweb.com. I've noticed among census records that Peter Millage lived close to Solomon Millage... either next door or a few houses away. I think Solomon and Charles Millage are brothers to Peter Millage. I have not yet confirmed this. Solomon Millage was born abt 1805 and his wife, Catherine ( AKA Caty) was born abt 1810. BUT, their graves indicate differently from Census records. Solomon, according to his grave, was born abt 1814. This is all that I've found. Rebecca Smith Notify Administrator about this message?
